Our aim is to work closely with our clients to prepare the bill of costs in a way that minimises possible challenges from the paying party, ensuring maximum recovery.

For paying parties, our services include:

• Preparing cost budgets and budget discussion reports,
• Analysing bills of costs to identify any pitfalls,
• Preparing Points of Dispute,
• Advising on Replies and settlement,
• Negotiating costs to settlement.

We strive for settlement without the need for a detailed assessment hearing and the additional costs that can be incurred as a result, however whilst it is often possible to settle on favourable terms, we acknowledge that this is not always achievable. for matters that cannot be concluded without the Court's assistance at provisional or detailed assessment, we are here to deal with all issues arising including:

• Attending hearings or instructing Counsel to attend hearings,
• Calculating settlement figures,
• Reporting on the outcome.
