Katy Cornish - Costs lawyer

Katy joined Horsepools early in 2026 after spending 8 years working in-house for a notable multi service law firm.

Katy has undertaken the Association of Cost Lawyer course, qualifying as a Costs Lawyer in 2025.

Specialising in Legal Aid Billing, Katy drafts all forms of legal aid bills, including CCMS Claims, 3 Column Bills and High Cost Cases.

Katy enjoys travelling (usually somewhere hot with some sunshine!), spending time with family and friends, and attending concerts and Glastonbury - her local festival. Katy is also a self confessed foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants.

Aside from her drafting requirements, Katy and her partner are expecting their first child this autumn.
