Paul Burtenshaw - Costs Draftsperson / Barrister Billing

  Paul brings over 27 years of experience in the legal profession to Horsepools. 

He began his career at a Solicitors firm before transitioning to a role as a Barristers Clerk. With more than 25 years as a Senior Clerk, including co-founding and running Derwent Chambers for the best part of 17 years. Paul has amassed extensive knowledge in managing the business operations of Chambers, with a particular focus on fees. 

Paul assists with the drafting of Care and Family Bills, however he primarily manages and runs our Barrister Billing department.

Paul's time is taken up mostly by his two young daughters. When he can find the time Paul enjoys hiking and running.
